Farmersville ISS Program

The Farmersville In-School Suspension Program provides the student with a positive and supportive learning environment. The in-school suspension class benefits the student in several important ways. These benefits include attendance, academics, improved self-esteem, and improved self-discipline. For attendance purposes, the student attending I.S.S. is not marked absent from school. Academically, the student continues to receive full credit for class work completed as assigned by their regular teacher. Additionally, the program administrator may assist the student in formulating possible alternative behaviors or solutions for future situations the student may face upon returning to his/her regular school environment.
